What is Grants' earnings model?
We operate on a service principle: a smaller part of our fee is a fixed monthly fee and a larger part is a success-based commission. This way, our interests are aligned with the client’s — we succeed when you succeed too. The best companies and the most significant financial successes are built over time, so the model also spreads the cost over a longer period and is friendly in terms of cash flow.
Why is the first contract period 12 months?
It is often advantageous for the company that the project period is quite long. We divide the contract period and invoicing accordingly. After the actual application is submitted, financing negotiations begin, reporting arrangements are made, possible changes are made and the actual reporting is carried out — and along the way, the next financing package is prepared. This requires active cooperation in time, and a minimum period of 12 months provides sufficient time horizon for cooperation.
What happens after the first 12 months?
The agreement will continue until further notice with a three-month notice period.
What if funding is not received — will I still be billed for the entire 12 months?
Yes. The first contract period is always 12 months, and a fixed service fee is charged for the entire period. The success fee, on the other hand, is only charged if the financier makes a positive financing decision.
At what point is the success commission invoiced?
The success fee is invoiced when the financier has issued a positive funding decision. A conditional funding decision is also a positive decision.
What is the amount used to calculate the success commission?
In grant funding, the commission is calculated on the grant funding portion granted, and in loan funding, on the loan amount granted. The commission percentage is always specified in the agreement.
Does Grants also handle reporting to the funder?
Yes, reporting is included in the packages. We support you in preparing interim and final reports and produce the necessary reporting documentation. The client is responsible for the accuracy of the content, is responsible for organizing hourly reporting and approves the report before submitting it to the financier.
